"This was the perfect spot for a warm winter meal in a cozy lodge like setting. The food felt like it was prepared just for us in a home kitchen with fresh bread and pasta. Even the ice cream at the end of the meal was made so special with toppings and served in a lovely glass dish. Service was very hospitable and welcoming!"

"Great restaurant. Food was awesome and the staff (especially Amber) were the greatest. The best people. If you want a really good meal in an awesome historic spot you cannot go wrong here. Be careful crossing from the parking."

"I've had to retype this review like twice already because there aren't enough words to describe how good this food was. My beloved and I are in town for our anniversary, he had the trout and I had the rabbit stew, both with a side of rumbledethumps. We had the mushroom and aioli flatbread with lamb for an appetizer. From the first bite everything was so rich in flavor. My eyes about rolled into my skull. All the meats were tender and savory, you could pick out the notes of spices in everything. And everyone was so kind! The wait staff was so sweet, answered any questions we had. It was a very welcoming environment. They have an area in the back with a shop filled with art and goods made by locals all at really affordable prices. And to cap all of this off, then came desert, we got the pumpkin cheese cake to go but had the "manna from heaven" in house. A meringue cookie ice cream sandwich. Holy. Smokes. It was light enough that we didn't feel over filled after eating dinner so we were able to savor every bite. The meringue was perfect, the exact sort of crisp snap that every pastry chef wants out of their meringues. And the taste. The cardomom was an absolutely perfect spice for this desert, it absolutely blossomed with flavor. It was pure bliss. I know this review is long winded and you may think I'm exaggerating, but I assure you I'm not. We will be coming back here for sure. And I will be talking about this place for a long time. Thank you for such an amazing anniversary dinner!!"

"We loved our drinks and meal. This is a hidden gem with farm to table local food. Everything is homemade and the food is locally sourced. There is a lovely gift store between the dining areas with jams, jewelry and beautiful art by local artists. Reservations are recommended as the sunset views are amazing. Be careful crossing the highway as the restaurant is on a hill overlooking the cacapon river. The traffic is sporadic and the curve is blind on both sides! This is a great restaurant for children. Ice cream and desserts are homemade. I think we will be regulars. It is such a blessing to have healthy homemade food in a historic restaurant!"

"Amazing food, top tier service. The French onion soup was particularly delicious, and the sweet cheezus burger was absolutely perfect. Make sure to show up a few minutes before dark for a spectacular pre-dinner sunset."

"My wife and I just had an incredible night at the Panorama. The view you receive started off the experience. Entering the historic stone building and seeing the layout, we knew we were in the right place. The staff is very friendly and helpful with recommendations. The food….wow! The fritters were delicious! The ravioli was even better! First time for me to finish my meal and scrape the plate in a very long time. Only go here If you want amazing food, view, staff, drinks and 100 years of local history. I’m currently looking for local real estate so I can enjoy many more Joni Old Fashion's. Yes that good Thank you for making an incredible night!"

"Well worth a visit if you're nearby. After a few visits sampling different things, no one has had any complaints about any of the food. The restaurant is in a chalet style building and the interior follows the dark and cozy theme. They've got a great bar and nice fireplace. Unfortunately, sunset isn't directly viewable from the main dining room due to high windows and low level seating but there's a modern addition (pictured below) with seats which I expect would have a wonderful view of the sunset. The staff is friendly and service is solid."
